This year’s first Sports Festival was a great success with record
participation. 143 students from year 5 and 6 took part in a Netball
coaching session at South Axholme Academy.
South Axholme’s sports ambassadors led the coaching sessions
which were designed to develop passing, footwork and shooting
skills in practice and small game situations. Students also had the
opportunity to mix with students from other local feeder schools to
aid the Key stage 2/3 transition.
