USA Beer is looking for a Full Time European Beer Sales Representative for Sixpoint; a Top 50 US craft brewery from Brooklyn (NY). We want you to help us with our export efforts and building relationships with our European importers, distributors, and accounts. We are looking for a take charge, high-energy, person who is passionate about craft beer, and who would find, build, and maintain relationships with On-Trade(bar/restaurant/horeca) & Off-Trade (bottle shops, liquor stores, retail) accounts. Candidate must be assertive, confident, personable, and have the ability to make connections with a wide array of people in diverse cultural settings. Ideal candidate will have experience as a beer sales representative already and an understanding of the European craft beer scene, market challenges, international beer distribution network, and the key international beer distributors. Those in the beer/beverage/bar/restaurant/hospitality industry will also be considered, especially if you work for a brewery, a beer buyer, are a Beer Sommelier, or have your Cicerone or Stibon certification. Candidate must be able to lift 22kg, and be comfortable moving kegs up to 33kg. You will be working collaboratively with USA Beer, Sixpoint's importers/distributors in Europe and Sixpoint's international export point person, so being a "Team Player" is a must. One needs the ability to manage projects and be organized for hosting and arranging the logistics for events. Working some weekends and evenings will be required participating in beer samplings, promotions, and beer festivals/trade shows. Must be at least 22 years of age with a clean driving record. Mandatory language skills in English and French or another European language like Dutch, German, Italian, or Spanish. High digital IQ, computer skills with Word, Excel, PPT, CRM software, and sales tracking software. If you have other skills like graphic design, social media marketing, film/video skills are a plus. Ability to analyze sales data and market trends to discover areas of opportunity and points of concern so having the analytical skills to manage your accounts and make sound decisions. You will work with and inspect/educate accounts on the proper serving and storage conditions for the beer and set up Point of Sale(POS)/merchandise by building displays, checking beer coolers, and placing POS items to increase visibility of the brand at account locations. Candidate will be working independently in the field 80-90% of the time so someone who is highly self-motivated, able to work autonomously, and very results oriented. Benelux will involve 60-70% of your territory with travel to other EU countries like France, Germany, Italy, & Spain. You must be able to work legally in the EU and must have a valid passport for air travel. You will be expected to pass the Cicerone or Stibon level I within 6 months of being hired.
