I am fully aware of the risks of injury and possible physical incapacitation, hereby save and hold harmless, the West Texas
Youth Football League, as well as West Texas Youth Football League sponsors or affiliates from any and all causes of
action, suits, debts, damages, judgments, and demand whatsoever arising from my TEAM PARTICIPANT,
participation in the West Texas Youth Football League games and/or competitions.

the foregoing participants release. I acknowledge that all information aforementioned is true and correct. I fully
understand that it is a requirement from the West Texas Youth Football League that I obtain a USA Football coaching
certification in order to participate during the 2016 Fall Football Season.
Furthermore, I freely and voluntarily assume any and all risks known or unknown to me that are inherent to being and
participating in the West Texas Youth Football League.

Zero Tolerance
This zero tolerance policy is being implemented to eliminate any verbal or physical abuse. To discourage public discord of the officiating crew.
Although public discord may not be considered abuse it does not keep in line with the West Texas Youth Football League core principles of positive
coaching and good sportsmanship and therefore will not be tolerated or practiced. West Texas Youth Football League will be the conduit and the
appropriate channels for coaches and spectators to share their concerns or discords with the officiating crew. Officials, coaches and West Texas
Youth Football League participants should only be talked to in a professional and respectable manner. It is clearly understood that referees calls are
not always correct it does not provide the opportunity to disregard the policy.
This policy will be implemented to eliminate physical and verbal referee abuse and to encourage coaches, players and spectators mutual harmony. It
is never acceptable to verbally or physically assault or abuse a referee, coach, player or spectator in any situation. The purpose of this policy is to
ensure all West Texas Youth Football participants clearly understand and adopt the sanctions set forth for improper conduct. Refer to: Texas
Statutes regarding interaction on the field of play with an Official (22.01 section 3 & 42.01) Penal Code Chapter 22, Assault
West Texas Youth Football shall enforce this policy as follows:
1.
All West Texas Youth Football League participants but not limited to coaches, league members, other referees, spectators and parents shall
if necessary intervene if a coach or spectator is prohibited from physical or verbal abuse of another person. General discord is expected and
if a situation or discord is handled appropriately no intervention is required.
2. All West Texas Youth Football League participants shall report any incident of abuse to the league members within 24 hours of set abuse.
3. The League Director will conduct an investigation, hear involved parties and implement the appropriate discipline if warranted before the
next game. The offending parties will be notified of the investigation and discipline being enforced.
4. Multiple offenses by parent, spectator and/or coach will result in game forfeiture but not limited to game/s suspension and/or season
suspension.
5. Any physical assault on any West Texas Youth Football League participant in the stands, playing field and/or parking lot will result in
game forfeiture, game/s suspension and/or season expulsion additionally the appropriate authorities will be notified.
6. This policy and discipline applies to all West Texas Youth Football League participants which are administrative in nature however all
criminal offenses will be directed to the appropriate authorities for appropriate resolution.

FIELD AND FACILITY RULES
Please adhere to the following rules provided by the West Texas Youth Football League. Notify the director on duty of rule violations.
Coaches, players, parents and spectators are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful manner at all times.
•
The use of profanity, obscene gestures, derogatory remarks or name calling is prohibited.
•
No alcoholic beverages are to be brought into the fields.
•
No pets are allowed.
•
No tobacco products are allowed on the playing fields.
•
No firearms, concealed or otherwise are allowed on the premises.
•
Trash from spectator areas and sidelines must be picked up after every game. There are trash cans at the end of each field.
•
Only players and coaching staff of the teams participating are permitted on that side of the field.
•
Team spectators are expected to remain on their side of the field i.e. home side or visitor side.
•
Game filming is tolerated but may only be conducted on your team side.
•
Only snacks and drinks for the players are allowed for the upcoming game. Concessions will be available during games.
•
Sideline markers (chain crew) will be the responsibility of the teams. (2 home and 1 away) games will not start if there is no chain crew.
•
No double parking or blocking flow of traffic. A tow truck will be summoned if vehicle is creating hazard, doubled park or blocking the
flow of traffic.
•
Entry fee is $2 for spectators 10 years and up. Coaches and players free.
•
Teams have 10 minutes to exit the field after the game is over in order to start the next game on time. By signing below you understand and
