About FACS SCRIP Program
SCRIP is fundraising while you shop. You can purchase gift cards for America’s most popular
retailers and then use them for your everyday purchases. From dining to vacation…grocery to
home improvement…gas to electronics. If you buy it, chances are good there’s a SCRIP card for
it!
Here’s how it works: We order SCRIP at a discount. Buyers (that’s you!) pay face value. The
difference is an instant rebate for St. Matthew School or Parish. These are the same exact gift
cards you purchase from the retailer directly. With more than 300 of America’s biggest brands
to choose from, using SCRIP to meet your everyday needs and gift giving couldn’t be easier…or
smarter.
Our SCRIP program is coordinated and managed jointly by Father Allouez Catholic School and
St. Matthew and Resurrection Parishes. By planning ahead, many families can earn at least $11
a week on everyday purchases, making it easy for a family to earn $500-$1000 a year in profit—
an amazing boost for our school budget.
Every family is already spending money somewhere, so now’s the time to start putting that
money to work for you, your kids and our parish community!

School families may also send orders, along with payment, to school with students or in the
weekly family envelope.

You can also place orders online 24/7 with ShopWithScrip.com. Once orders are
placed, they are delivered the following Wednesday (or Thursday if Monday is a
holiday). Orders must be placed by noon Sunday in order to meet Wednesday delivery. Orders
placed after noon Sunday will be filled the week following (unless inventory is available).
Note: Online orders can be paid with either Presto Pay (online payment service) or by check.
Online orders paid by check will not be released until payment has been received.

purchase eCards and reload brands and redeem right from your Apple or Android

E-Cards: SCRIPNOW
In a hurry? Choose from any of the 250 eCards available. Order your ScripNow
and pay with your PrestoPay account or by check. Great Lakes Scrip Center (our
SCRIP vendor) will email you when your eCard is ready to be printed from your
ShopWithScrip.com account. Remember, ScripNow can be delivered within
minutes if you pay with PrestoPay.
Reloadable SCRIP cards
Certain SCRIP cards can be reloaded. When placing your order on
ShopWithScrip.com, choose the “reloadable” option for your card (ie: Roundys
reload). A menu will pop up asking for the card number and name. You can then add
funds to the reloadable card.
Family Fundraising Goals
As part of your tuition agreement and in order to keep tuition costs low, Father Allouez Catholic
School requires each family to purchase enough SCRIP to generate $250 in profit. You will have
10 months (July 1-May 1) to meet this goal. The profit is used to supplement either the school
or parish operating budgets.

With this example, you would have earned a profit of $300. Families, who meet their annual
SCRIP requirement by May 1, will have until June 30 to earn 50% of their overage as a tuition
credit. So, in this example, you would have earned a $25 tuition credit paid directly to Grace or
NDA. Note: Kohl’s SCRIP cards can be used to pay Kohl’s credit card bills!

Attached is a SCRIP Sponsor form, complete and return to school no later than September 23,
2016. Every dollar they earn goes directly toward your SCRIP requirement.

What if I don’t meet my goal?
A buyout option is available and will be billed to you if you choose not to participate in the SCRIP program.
If you purchase SCRIP but do not reach the $250 goal, you will have until May 15 to pay the difference.
Statements will be sent home three times per year.

When searching for SCRIP on ShopWithScrip.com, I often see names duplicated. Some say “Local” or
“St. Matts” or “Resurrection”. Which do I choose?
When you see two entries (ie: Kwik Trip and Kwik Trip Local Scrip), ALWAYS CHOOSE LOCAL OR ST
MATTS/RESURRECTION for a larger profit.

Convenience! Once your order is placed, the SCRIP coordinators will be
notified. No need to do anything else! Note: there is a $.15 transaction
fee.

PLACING AN ORDER
If you don’t already have an account, you will first need to contact the SCRIP coordinators: Joey

Once your account is set up:
- Go to: www.ShopWithScrip.com
- Enter your Username and Password
- Click on “Place Order” and start shopping!
CHECKING OUT
When you go to the checkout screen, you will notice there are three actions you can do to each item in
your cart. These are “Edit”, “Add to Favorites”, and “Remove”. “Add to Favorites” allows you to select
this Scrip easily in the future from your own “Favorites” list.
When you are finished making any adjustments to your cart, click on the “Checkout” button.
When checking out, you will have two options: “Pay with Check” or “Presto Pay”. When paying with
check, you will need to print out your order, attach a check for the correct amount, and send it to school.
Your order will be filled and sent home Wednesdays the same way special orders are done.
PRESTO PAY
Before using the Presto Pay option, you will need to click on the link to sign up. Presto Pay is linked to
your checking account. This will take a few days as Shop with Scrip will make small deposits into your
account to verify it. Once you verify the deposits, you will need to contact a SCRIP coordinator with your
verification code. Once the code is entered, you are ready to go!
There are two important thinks to note when using Presto Pay:
1) There will be a $.15 fee added to each order that is processed with Presto Pay
2) If you only select “Local” Scrip, this option will not be available. You will need to order at least
one item from Great Lakes National Scrip in order to use Presto Pay.
When paying with Presto Pay, you do not need to do anything else. The orders will be electronically
forwarded to the Scrip Coordinator, will be filled and sent home on Wednesdays the same way special
orders are done.
Reload orders paid for with PrestoPay will process automatically, and the funds will be added to the
card(s) overnight.** Orders paid by check will process after the coordinator releases the order for
processing. The family will receive an email telling them when the funds will be available.
Scrip Sponsors:
If you have a family member or friend buying Scrip on your behalf, please complete the bottom
of this letter and return to the school office.
Once completed, your Scrip sponsor should fill out the Scrip form with their name and phone
number.
The form must be completed yearly and on file to ensure that you receive credit.
