MENSAGEM DO PRESIDENTE DA FPPDAM
Depois do sucesso na organização de vários eventos internacionais, mais uma vez a FIPS-M
confiou em Portugal e na Federação Portuguesa de Pesca Desportiva do Alto Mar (FPPDAM) para a
realização de mais uma competição Mundial na cidade de Albufeira de 16 a 23 de setembro de 2017, o
XXVIº Campeonato do Mundo de Big Game Fishing (Trolling).
A FPPDAM tudo irá fazer para não quebrar as vossas expectativas e certamente se irão recordar
por muito tempo da nossa qualidade organizativa, do nosso acolhimento e hospitalidade, da nossa
gastronomia e especialmente da nossa amizade.
Este é um dos primeiros passos para concretizarmos esta organização e, fruto de experiências
anteriores, estamos certos do trabalho e das dificuldades que nos esperam, mas com dedicação e espírito
de sacrifício de todos, certamente iremos chegar ao sucesso que almejamos superando a qualidade
exibida em edições anteriores.
Albufeira dispõe de todas as condições para a organização destes eventos caracterizando-se pela
riqueza da sua fauna, condições atmosféricas estáveis e um bom conjunto de embarcações dotadas de
tripulações muito experientes.
Para além da competição propriamente dita iremos organizar um programa social destinado aos
acompanhantes para que possam conhecer e desfrutar da cidade de Albufeira e da beleza do Algarve.
Também será organizado um passeio a alguns locais de interesse em que poderão participar os atletas,
como consta do programa deste campeonato.
Pretendo deixar uma palavra de muito apreço a todos os nossos colaboradores, parceiros e
patrocinadores que serão fundamentais para a consecução dos objetivos a que nos propomos.

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT OF FPPDAM
After the successful organization of several International events, the FIPS-M confided again in
Portugal and in the Portuguese of Deep Sea Angling Federation (FPPDAM) for the organization of another
world Competition in Albufeira 16th to 23th September 2017, the 26th Worldchampionship B.G.F. (Trolling.
The FPPDAM will do everything to satisfy your expectations and you will surely remember our
organizational quality, our good reception and hospitality, our delicious food and especially our friendship.
This is one of the first steps to carry out this organization and, as a result of previous experiences,
we know the work and the difficulties that will appear. But we think we are able to surpass the quality
displayed in previous events and achieve the success we desire with dedication and hard work of all.
Albufeira have all the conditions for the organization of these events because of the richness of
its fauna, good atmospheric conditions and a good set of boats equipped with very experienced crews.
Besides the organization, we will have a social program for the members who accompany the
athletes. This means that they can know and enjoy the city of Albufeira and the beauty of Algarve. It will
also be organized a tour to some places of interest in which the athletes can participate, as this
championship program shows.
I want to leave a word of appreciation to all our collaborators, partners and sponsors because
their role is very important to achieve ours aims.

Après l'organisation réussie divers événements internationauxdu monde, la FIPS -M confié encore
au Portugal et à la Fédération Portugaise de Pêche Sportif en Haute Mer ( FPPDAM ) pour l'organisation
d'un autre concours mondial à Albufeira , le “26th Worldchampionship B.G.F. (Trolling), du 16 au 23
Septembre 2017
Le FPPDAM fera tout pour répondre à vos attentes et vous souvenez sûrement de notre qualité
d'organisation , notre bon accueil et de l'hospitalité , notre délicieuse nourriture et surtout notre amitié.
C'est l'une des premières étapes pour mener à bien cette organisation et, à la suite d' expériences
antérieures , nous savons que le travail et les difficultés qui nous attendent . Mais avec dévoument et le
sacrífice de tous,nous allons certainement atteindre le succès que nous désirons dépasser, la qualité
affichée dans éditions précedentes.
Albufeira a toutes les conditions pour l'organisation de ces événements en raison de la richesse
de sa faune, de bonnes conditions atmosphériques et une bonne série de bateaux équipés avec des
équipages très expérimentés .
En plus la competition elle-même, nous allons organiser un programme social pour les personnes
accompagnant les athlètes . Cela signifie qu'ils peuvent connaître et profiter de la ville de Albufeira et la
beauté du Algarve. Il sera également organisé une visite à certains endroits d'intérêt dans lequel les
athlètes peuvent participer , comme indiqué dans le programme du championnat.
Je veux laisser un mot de remerciement à tous nos collaborateurs, partenaires et commanditaires,
qui seront essentiels pour atteindre les objectifs que nous nous etions fixés .

Big Game Fishing. Trata-se de um evento de grande dimensão internacional que constitui mais um
contributo para valorizarmos a nossa cidade enquanto polo turístico de excelência.
Com o dinamismo que reconhecemos à equipa que sustenta este projeto, mas também na certeza
de que possuímos um conjunto de mais-valias a nível das infraestruturas e das condições naturais,

World Championship. It is an event of great international dimension that constitutes one more

With the dynamism that we recognize in the team that supports this project, but also in the
certainty that we have a set of added values in terms of infrastructures and natural conditions, we are
sure that it will be a great success.

Pontuação / Scoring / Ponctuation:
Para a captura e soltura de um peixe poder ser considerada é fundamental que o filme permita
ver:
→ O pescador com a pulseira do dia no pulso; → A espécie de peixe; → Que qualquer membro da
equipa toca no leader; → Que o alfinete ou destorcedor toca na ponteira da cana; → Que a
emenda entre a linha principal e o líder passa a ponteira da cana;
É permitido interromper a filmagem se o combate for demorado mas é obrigatório que a parte da
filmagem contendo a soltura do peixe seja ininterrupta e contendo os elementos constantes do
ponto anterior.
As capturas validadas pelo júri internacional receberão as seguintes pontuações:
· Marlin Azul.......................100 pontos
· Marlim Branco...................25 pontos
· Big Eye Tuna.....................50 pontos
· Blue Fin Tuna.................50 pontos
. Dorado…………………………………5 pontos
For the catch and release of a fish to be counted, the video must clearly show the following:
→ The Fisherman wearing the wristband of the day in question; → The Species of fish; → Any
team member touching the leader; → The swivel touches the end of the rod; → The splice
between the main line and leader passes the tip of the rod;
Filming may be interrupted for long fights; however, the part of the film containing the release of
the fish, including the above items, must be uninterrupted.
Fish caught and validated by the international team of judges will receive
the following scores:
· Blue Marlin......................100 points
· White Marlin......................25 points
· Big Eye Tuna.....................50 points
· Blue Fin Tuna ................50 points
· Dorado ............................5 points
Pour valider la prise d’un poisson il est essentiel que le film obligatoire que le film permette de
voir:
→ Le bracelet de la journée sur le poignet du pêcheur; → L’espèce de poisson; → Qu'un membre
de l'équipe touche le bas de ligne; → Que l’émerilon touche l’anneau de point de la canne; →
Que le raccordement du bas de ligne sur la ligne principale ait passé l’anneau de pointe . Il est
permis d’interrompre le film si la lutte avec le poisson est trop longue, par contre la libération du
poisson devra être filmée intégralement. .
La capture validée par le jury international recevra les scores suivants:
· Bleu Marlin ....................... 100 points
· Blanc Marlim ................... 25 points
· Big Eye Tuna ................... 50 points
· Thon jaune ..................... 50 points
. Dorado ............................ 5 points

A FIPS-M fornecerá as medalhas às 3
primeiras nações (5 medalhas por nação).
A organização fornecerá e atribuirá um troféu
para cada um dos três primeiros classificados
por nação, um prémio para cada um dos três
melhores skippers e um prémio para o
pescador que maior número de pontos tiver
em peixes de bico.
FIPS-M will provide the award medals for the
first three Teams (Up to five medals per
Team).
The event organization will furnish and award
a trophy for each of the first three Teams,
one trophy for each of the three best skippers
and one award for the fisherman with the
highest score on billfish.
La FIPS-M fournira les médailles aux 3
premières nations (5 médailles par nation).
L'organisation fournira et attribuer un trophée
pour chacun des trois premiers par nation,
une prime pour chacun des trois meilleurs
skippers et un prix pour le pêcheur qui a le
plus de points dans billfish.
Todas as manhãs serão distribuídos às
equipas através dos skippers:
· Isca;
· Gelo para iscas e bebidas;
· Farnel para 7 pessoas;
· Folhas de registo de pescado; e
· Pulseiras de identificação do dia de pesca.
Each morning, the following will be
distributed via the skippers to the teams:
· Bait;
· Ice for bait and beverages;
· Packed meal for seven people;
· Fishing record sheets; and
· Identification wristbands for the fishing day.
Chaque matin, sera distribué aux équipes par
les skippers:
· Appât;
· Glace pour les appâts et les boissons;
· Casse-croûte pourl 7 personnes;
· Enregistrement de poissons feuilles; et
· Pêche Journée Poignets.

Povoada desde os tempos pré-históricos, o local onde se situa hoje Albufeira era um importante
centro piscatório e portuário, segundo indícios que remontam ao neolítico e à idade do bronze.
Elevada a cidade em 1986 foi também durante essa década que Albufeira mais cresceu a nível
urbanístico. A cidade expandiu-se, então, para nascente, zona onde se situam ainda hoje a
maior parte dos serviços administrativos.
A town that dates back to pre-historic times, the location that currently harbours Albufeira was
an important fishing and port centre according to evidence retracted from the Neolithic and
Bronze Ages.
Promoted to city in 1986, it was also in this decade that Albufeira experienced urban growth.
Consequently, the city expanded toward the east, where most administrative services are
currently located.
Habitée depuis la préhistoire, où se trouve aujourd'hui Albufeira était un important centre de
pêche et le port, selon les preuves datant du Néolithique et l'âge du bronze.
Ville en 1986 est également au cours de cette décennie que Albufeira plus a augmenté au
niveau urbain. Le ville élargi, puis vers l'est, une zone où sont aujourd'hui la plupart des services
administratifs.
