teachatotalof30credithoursperyearofmathematicscourses.
Qualifications
AminimumofaMaster'sDegreeinMathematicsorappropriateequivalentdegreeisrequired.Atleast18credithoursofmath
courseworkatthegraduatelevelisrequired.Theapplicant’sdegreemustbefromaregionallyaccreditedinstitutionofhigher
learningrecognizedbytheU.S.DepartmentofEducation.Preferredqualificationsincludethreeormoreyearsofcommunity
collegeteachingexperience,developmentalteachingexperience,experienceworkingwithadiversestudentbody,and
experiencewithassessment.

a. Instructstudentsinatotalof30credithoursperyearinmathcourseworkusingapprovedcourseoutcomes
andperformassessmentduties.
b. Attendandparticipateincollege‐wide,campus/centerdivision,department,andprogrammeetingsand
activities.
c. ServeonSubjectAreaCurriculumCommitteesand/orsuchotherCollegecommitteesasmaybeassigned.
d. Attendin‐servicemeetings.
e. Providecertificationofattendance,andpoststudentprogressreportsandgradesontime,inconjunctionwith
RegistrarandFinancialAidrequirements.
f. Maintainregularlyscheduledofficehourstofacilitatestudents’learningneeds.
Remaincurrentinthefieldthroughavarietyofprofessionaldevelopmentactivities.

WorkingConditions/PhysicalRequirements
