The Professorship of Managerial Economics at the TUM School of Management invites applications for a
position as a Doctoral Researcher (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter). The successful candidate will be enrolled
in the PhD Program of the TUM School of Management and conduct independent research under supervision
of Prof. Dr. Michael Kurschilgen.
Qualifications.
Candidates should be keen to do research in behavioral and experimental economics. You should have a
Master’s degree in Economics, Management, Math, or a comparable field, and sound knowledge in microeconomic theory and/or statistics. German language skills are not required; fluency in spoken and written
English is a must; MATLAB, STATA and other programming skills are a plus.
The position.
Employment is offered for three years with the possibility of an extension according to the public service collective agreement of Bavaria (TV-L level E, %-%). The position offers a comprehensive environment
for conducting research, including travel funds and a state-of-the-art experimental laboratory. The position
carries some teaching (. to  hrs/week during the semester).
