ABOUT OUR CHILDREN’S MINISTRY
Northeast Kids Ministry offers nursery, classes for The Preschool Pals, The Rock (K-3) and the
Edge (4-5). We provide worship and biblical teachings that are appropriate for each of these
age groups. We meet every Sunday during the two morning services. Please ask a greeter
where your child’s class is located. We would love for them to join us!
CONNECTIONS
Connections is our young adult ministry that meets every Sunday at 7:00pm. Connections is
an alternative worship service that is geared for ages 18-25, but all are invited!
CORE GROUPS
We believe that spiritual growth happens best when we are connected to others. A Core
Group is a small group of 10-12 people who meet weekly to grow closer in their relationship
with God and each other. There are groups meeting on different nights of the week to help
you get connected no matter what your schedule. We encourage everyone looking to go
deeper in their walk with Christ to join a Core Group. For more information please contact

CHURCHWIDE
NACC - The North American Christian Convention starts Tuesday this week. Thank you to all our
volunteers! If you didn’t get to sign up to volunteer, you can still purchase tickets online. Also,
evening main sessions are free for all to attend, and start at 7pm. Learn more at

School Supply Drive - The new school year is just around the corner. Help support our local
schools by donating supplies in this year’s school supply drive. Our goal is to provide backpacks
filled with supplies to St. Cloud Middle School. We need backpacks (new or slightly used), Duotang pocket folders, notebook paper, pencils and pens, and composition books. Donate now
through August 5. For more information, please see Justin or Dana.
Golf League - During the month of August, we will be having a golf league at Kissimmee Bay. We
will be playing every Tuesday night at 5:30pm. The cost is just $13 for 9 holes and includes a
soda and hot dog. Sign up in the back of auditorium. For more information, please see Justin or
Dana.
Golf League Free Lessons - Jay Miller, Director of Golf at Kissimmee Country Club and Remington
Golf Club, is offering free clinics to our Northeast church golf league beginning at 4:30 – 5:30
each league night in August. Jay is from southern California and a member of Saddleback
church, the home of Rick Warren. Also available is special “God Squad” pricing for all church
members and staff - $18 before noon, $15 after noon, Monday – Wednesday. Anyone can call
and make a reservation for golf and let them know they are members of the God Squad.
Financial Counseling - If you would like one on one coaching with a highly qualified expert
counselor, who will help you develop a specific plan to meet your individual needs, please see

E-give - While your on vacation, the church is still going. One way you can continue to support
Northeast during the summer is to start using e-Give. You can register online at www.northeastchristian.com. It’s the simple, safe, and secure way to give, even when you’re away. We thank
you for your continued support.
Media and Sound Help Needed - The unsung heroes of the worship team are our tech team.
Each week they work behind the scenes, helping us all worship. We are in need of more help in
both the sound and media aspects of our tech team, for both Sunday morning and Sunday evening services. Training is provided. All that is required is a servant’s heart. For more information,

GROW Ministries - We are in need of more help with our GROW ministries team. GROW stands
for greeting and reaching out to welcome. Positions in both greeting and café are available. If
you would like more information, please see Dana.
Sponsor The Café - There are new dates available for café sponsorship. Sponsorship is easy. Pick
a Sunday from the list in the back of the auditorium, and, on that date, bring in 8 dozen snack
items of your choice for our café. Our café teams will take care of the rest. Each week, our café is
supported by families in our church. Thank you for helping provide this service!
