Canals in Plovdiv is built for rowing championships.
It is 2480 m long, wide 150 m and its depth in all sectors is of over 2.5 m.
Fish species to be caught are carp, caras, amur, chub and bleak.
FISHING VENUE
All sectors will be on the north side of the canal.

Every team must pay to organizer a fee of 1.350,00 EUR.
Fee includes:
- C.I.P.S. fee of 150 EUR
- 9 tickets for banquet (it will be possible to get additional tickets for 50 euro each)
- 6 fishing passes for training
- Insurance for competitors

The opening ceremony will be on Thursday, 15th September 2016, at 6.30 p.m., and closing
ceremony on Sunday, 18th September 2016, at 6.00 p.m. All events will take place at canal Plovdiv.
Banquet will start at 8 p.m – hotel “Imperial”-Plovdiv.
All Nations shall bring their own flag and anthem.

GROUNDBAITS and BAITS
Each competitor is allowed to have 20 liters of groundbaits, including earth, gravel, corn maize,
wheat, hempseed, etc. and other additives that are not toxic for the fauna and the water environment.
Each competitor is allowed to have 2.5 liters of baits, of which a maximum amount of 1 liter can be
aquatic larvae (jokers and bloodworms). In any case the maximum amount of bloodworms can be 0.5
liter.
Organizer allows the use of mixed color maggots. All baits shall be put in measurable boxes during
the bait control.
Prepared groundbaits must be in buckets with scale.
Maximum length of fishing pole is 13 m.
