Code of Conduct for Team Managers/Coaches
. I will display control, respect and professionalism to all involved in Howzat,
including opponents, officials, administrators, parents and spectators.
. I will familiarize myself with Howzat rules.
. I will ensure my team/s play within the rules and spirit of the game.
. I will not criticize officials’ decisions from the sidelines or shout abuse of any
kind.
. I will not approach officials during play but will wait until the break or end of
game. If I am unhappy with an incident or decision I will contact Howzat directly
using the dispute system.
. I will be a positive role model in behaviour and ensure my comments are
positive and supportive.
. I will not ridicule or shout at players for making a mistake or not winning.
. I will place the safety and welfare of players above all else.
. I will respect the rights, dignity and worth of all people involved in the game,
regardless of their gender, ability or cultural background.
. I will not use bad language at any time.
. I will support all efforts to remove verbal/physical abuse from Howzat.
. I will not AT ANYTIME enter the field of play or approach an official, opposition
player or opposition coach in a hostile manner before, during or after a game.
