KING DAVID’S EXAMPLE
David found his value in God
David and Goliath. 1 Samuel 17.
We need to be able to follow the will of God based on our inherent God-given
value, regardless of the other voices in our life.
David found his value and worth in God not other people.
David found the worth of others in God
David recognised the value in Saul.
If God has instilled inherent value within us then we must recognise that God
has instilled value in others.
This value is objective, independent of people’s views and opinions.
David chose to trust God for his worth
Psalm 13:1
How long, LORD? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your
face from me?
At times we feel unworthy of God’s help or answer.
Sometimes we need to choose to trust God.
It is the place of God to define our worth.
