Minimum Qualifications
to Teach OAP
1.) Bachelor’s Degree
2.) Associate’s Degree
• With a Major related to the subject, and

• A.) 30hrs or 2 semester units of academic

OAP Instructor: Example of Duties
• Adjunct Faculty are responsible for maintaining currency in their field(s), and
our encouraged to:
• Participate in updating existing courses
• Assisting in the assessment of student learning
outcomes.
• Participating in community outreach on behalf of the
college.
• Assignments could involve full or partial assignment
to any of our locations, and may be a combination
of day & night classes.
