This application form and terms of reference are related to the Joint Action Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting
Conference “Planning & Educating Health Workforce without borders” that will take place in Varna, Bulgaria on 18th &
19th February 2016.
As we have informed you in the accompanying letter the posters preparation and finalization should fit in the following
themes that are in accordance with overall conference key topics:
 the challenge of mobility for health professionals;
 the effect of a changing demography on health workforce needs;
 the education of health professionals for the future.
These terms of reference will provide you all information that you need for your preparation and
submission of the poster.

We kindly ask to fill out this student application form, especially the information marked as mandatory. All information
beyond the direct context of your poster is voluntary but welcome.

received after this deadline will not be accepted.

C. Dissemination
By applying to our poster competition you agree that the Joint Action JA for Health Workforce Planning and Forecasting
will disseminate your poster on its website, on the website of the Medical University – Varna, will circulate among all the
participants and will be recommended to be published in the scientific journals of Medical University – Varna (Scripta
Scientifica Salutis Publicae, Health Economics and Management, Varna Medical Forum).

TERMS OF REFERENCE
A. Information about the poster size and quality of paper
The poster must be A0 portrait size (84 cm X 119 cm) in colour. Appropriate display space will be provided for the
duration of the conference. The quality of paper to choose is optional, you can use both matte/dull or gloss/shiny paper.
The language of the poster is English.
B. Information about the customization of the poster
In order to be more aligned to Joint Action corporate identity, you are suggested to use elements of our branding such as
Joint Action logo and housestyle components (such as use of Joint Action colors). Please, note, that this is merely
a suggestion and not an obligation and thus you are free to choose if to go in accordance with Joint Action housestyle or
by a proposal fully customized by you. The author(s) of accepted posters will receive all corporate identityy documents
included in the poster acceptance communication to follow.
C. Information about the printing of the poster
Please, note, that all students must print their own poster and bring it to the conference. One printed copy of the poster
is sufficient. All information about the exact date, timing and venue where to bring the poster will be included in one of
the follow up communication from us. This information will be sent to the e-mail address that you will provide in the
application form.
D. Information about the expenses and budget
No participation fee is charged for the poster session. The travel and accommodation expenses are covered by the
participants.
