Three new instant scratch-off games start Tuesday
-The Price Is Right® game returns with eight top prizes of $100,000 RALEIGH – The N.C. Education Lottery will begin selling on Tuesday, Oct. 5,
three new instant scratch-off games, including for the second time the popular
The Price Is Right® scratch-off card. The game includes a chance to win a trip
to Las Vegas to play the non-broadcast version of the TV game show and
compete for a chance for a $1 million prize.
The $5 Price of Right® card allows players to scratch their way to eight top
prizes of $100,000. It offers players three ways to win, using some of the same
game features that are part of the TV game show. Players can match three
amounts on the “Spin the Wheel” portion and win the amount shown. They can
find a “Chip” symbol on the “PLINKO” ® board and win the amount shown. Or if
they scratch the “Your Bid” area of the “Showcase Showdown” portion and it is
less than the “Actual Price” area, then they win the prize shown. The game
includes more than $7.3 million in prizes, including lower tier prizes ranging
from $5 to $1,000.
Non-winning tickets can be entered into three second-chance drawings that
offer a grand prize of a trip to Las Vegas to compete for prizes in a nonbroadcast version of the show. Nine players from North Carolina will win one of
the grand prize trips.
The package includes:
Three night, four day trip for two to Las Vegas
Round-trip airfare
$1,000 spending money
$4,000 prize money on return from trip
Two tickets to the non-broadcast version of the show and a chance to
compete for additional prizes including a grand prize of $1 million.
Players enter their non-winning tickets into the drawing using the NCEL website at www.nc-educationlottery.org. The
drawings are scheduled for Nov. 17, Dec. 15, and Jan. 12, 2011. Three grand prize winners will be picked in each
drawing. One of the North Carolina contestants in the NCEL’s first The Price Is Right® game won an additional
$10,000 competing in the non-broadcast version of the show.

grid they win the prize shown in the corresponding arrow. Players can win up to five
times on each card.
Triple Tripler is a $2 game that offers $5.9 million in total prizes, including eight top
prizes of $27,000. If a player scratches to find a dollar symbol, they win the prize
