Add—adds a new medication entry
Edit—edit an existing entry
(start/stop dates, add new schedule,
stop a schedule)
Void—can only Void a med if you
have not documented any doses;
must Void/Delete the Schedule first,
if a Scheduled Med.
NOTE: Be sure to check all of your
details carefully before saving.
Enter all PRN and Scheduled
medications, procedures (insulin, tube
feedings, catheterizations, BP checks,
etc.).
Scheduled Meds or Procedures:
--Can add more than one schedule for the
same medication or procedure
--Stop/Start new schedules for the same
med
Edit and stop the Schedule(s) (new end
date) before you can Stop or Void the
medication

MEDICATION QUICK ENTRY WS\OF\HR\ME\QE
Display order by student or by time.
Only scheduled medications that have not been administered will
display. Change and Apply to show all scheduled meds, if
needed.
Click the Administer box. Make any changes or click the paper icon to
add a note.
Use Reason Dose Not Given, as needed. The Quantity will automatically
change to zero.
Save when finished entering medication administration details student(s).

Click Administer button to document an As Needed med.
Scheduled medications/procedures will also populate in the Scheduled
Medications box at the bottom of the page. Administer a scheduled medication
by clicking on the Administer button on the left of the Scheduled Medication box
(or use Medication Quick Entry
