A separate contract is needed per service category and is created by the Wholesaler. Interim Supply opt in agreement The Interim Supply opt in agreement is the mechanism by which a Retailer can opt in to the Interim Supplier Allocation Process for a given service category (Water or Sewerage) in a wholesale area. The Interim Supplier Allocation Process the process by which the Market Operator shall allocate Interim Duty Supply Points Registered to a Retailer to Opted In Retailers in accordance with the Market Terms. Gap site opt in agreement The Gap site opt in agreement is the mechanism by which a Retailer can opt in to the Gap Site Allocation Process for a given service category (Water or Sewerage) in a wholesale area. The Gap Site Allocation Process is the process by which the Market Operator shall allocate New Supply Points at Gap Sites to a Retailer in accordance with the Market Terms. Overview Roles and Responsibilities Create Agreements Search and View Agreements Update Agreements Wrap-up • The registration of a new Supply Point and the transfer of existing Supply Points requires the Wholesaler to have in place a Wholesale Contract agreement with the nominated Retailer. • The Central Market Operating System (CMOS) will validate that a Wholesale Contract agreement exists between the two Market Participants. • A Wholesale Contract agreement must exist to enable the Retailer to opt in for interim duty supply allocation and for gap site allocation.
