The following supplies are suggested items by the homeroom teachers to enhance
your child’s education. To enable easy distribution, please DO NOT LABEL items
with your child’s name unless indicated. Thank you!

 2 large glue sticks
 1 pair metal scissors (blunt tip) – please label with your child’s initials
 1 pk. latex free pencils (please sharpen)
 1 pk. washable markers
 1 yellow project book (top half blank, bottom half ruled)
 1 blue blank project books (23.2 x 18.1 cm)
 1 duo-tang folder (not plastic and no pockets)
 1 plastic duo-tang folder with pockets – any plain colour, please label with your
child’s name (ENGLISH CLASSES ONLY)
 1 painting smock - please label with your child’s name

2 plastic duo-tang folder (with pockets and metal clips) (1 red and 1 yellow)

4 duo-tangs with metal clips (red, yellow, blue and green)

Large Coiled Scrapbook
1 painting smock/old shirt for painting

Please send along your child’s sneakers when they switch to winter boots or

on days when they do not wear them to school.
A set of headphones. These will be returned at the end of the year. (Placed
in a separate baggie)

Change of clothes to be kept in their locker.

The following supplies are suggested items by the homeroom teachers to enhance your
child’s education. Please note that every effort is made to reduce the amount of supplies
requested, however it may be necessary that at some point in the year, a child may be
requested to bring in additional supplies. Thank you!

***Please label: coloured leads, markers, glue, erasers, sharpener, binders, ruler and

The reason why duo-tangs and exercise books are not labeled is for ease in distribution.
When compiling a class set of duo tang folders it is easier to pick out 20 red folders than
to search through 100 folders to find a red labeled one for each child.
Please place the extra pencils, glue sticks, and erasers in a Ziplock bag with your
child’s name on it. These supplies will be stored in the classroom.

Please note that the reason duo-tangs and exercise books are not to be labelled is for ease
in distribution and classroom organization. The other supplies can be labelled if you wish,
and can be placed in the student’s pencil case, with the extras put in a large, labelled
Ziploc bad. Some supplies may need to be replenished during the school year (such as
pencils, erasers, markers, glue, etc.).
