Happy 2017 everyone!
The past year was full of plenty of successes along with plenty of lessons
learned, but we're unbelievably excited about 2017. We have a jam-packed
newsletter today, so let's get to it!
New Game Announcement:
Barker's Row
Although we did a soft-announcement on Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook
recently, we're happy to officially announce our next title will be Barker's
Row! This is our first step away from our niche of large group hidden
identity and deduction games -- but when we played it, we couldn't pass it
up. We're still about 3 months away from it showing up on Kickstarter but
it's on its way.
Barker's Row is for 2-4 players where players
take on the role of a carnival barker who is trying
to fill your seats with meeples ("rubes") by
playing the most fantastic attractions. It features
custom, screen-printed meeples, 3D chipboard
components, and has more exciting options than
we've ever offered in a Kickstarter campaign. It is
masterfully designed by Steven Aramini
(Yardmaster) and beautifully illustrated by
Andrea Olgiati (New Salem, Winter Tales). You
can sign up on this Krowdster page to be notified
upon launch and get more info on the game.
Leaders of Euphoria:
Choose a Better Oppressor
Thanks to 1951 backers, we raised $79,222
dollars to create Leaders of Euphoria: Choose a
Better Oppressor, making it our most successful
campaign yet! Manufacturing is about to begin
and it will hit stores in the second quarter of
2017. You still have an opportunity to get a
Deluxe version by pre-ordering HERE while
supplies last.
BGG Most Anticipated Games of 2017
In BGG's Most Anticipated Games of 2017, the nomination round has ended
and we're happy that Leaders of Euphoria made it into the final voting
round in the categories Party, Crowdfunded, and Reprint so VOTE NOW if
you’re excited about it to help give us a chance against games from some
of the bigger publishers.

Other News
Jeremy Commandeur joins the Overworld Games team helping with
localization of our games outside of the US.
Playtesting for Barker's Row will begin soon. Sign up here for the
opportunity to playtest that or future titles.
Overworld Games partnered with Publisher Services Inc (PSI) to help
us with greater expansion within mass-market retail.
New Salem is out of stock at the publisher level. Once we get enough
demand for the expansion here, we’ll do a reprint of the base game
along with it.
