Мета:
Активізувати вивчений лексичний та граматичний матеріал.
Тренувати учнів в усному мовленні за темою уроку.
Розвивати навички читання.
Практикувати учнів у письмі.
Підкреслити важливість позашкільної діяльності у житті учнів
Виховувати в учнів прагнення одержувати нові знання
та ввічливе ставлення один до одного.
Обладнання: Підручник, комп’ютер , картки з малюнками., магнітофон,проектор,
ватмани .

T: Good morning dear girls and boys! How are you today?
I see you are in a good mood, am I right? It means that you are OK at school and at home. These
are two main places where you spend your free time. Well, the topic of our todays lesson is
“After school activities”
We are going to speak about your interests, different clubs etc. To the end of the lesson you will
be able to describe your favourite club.
So, lets start our lesson from the warming-up questions.

1. Tell me about your school
I attend Balahivska secondary school. It is not very big but it is very nice. This three-storied
building was build in 1956.

Describe your typical day at school
I get up at 7o’clock, make my bed, have breakfast and go to school. Our lessons begin at
8.30 o’clock. Every day we have six or seven lessons. Every lesson lasts 45 minutes. After
third lesson we have lunch. Our lessons finish at 2o’clock. Then I have a dinner, do
homework and have a rest.
3. Describe your extracurricular activities
Extracurricular activities are different in our school. There are some clubs: euroclub, drama
club and sport sections. I attend volleyball section.. We have different parties after classes,
print our school newspaper. In the newspaper we write about our school life.

I’m crazy about gaming. But my mum doesn’t want me to play as
much as I’d like to. Sometimes my dad joins me and we play
against each other. Then my mum really gets mad.
I’m a member of a film club. We shoot films and
cover all the important school events. It’s a lot of
fun. We don’t get together very often, just twice
a week. I like it because I love films. I also enjoy
hanging around with friends. We love going to
the cinema together. We buy tickets online.
I go to the park or playground with my friends. I ride my bike. We like
doing all sorts of tricks. Of course,I wear my helmet. You have to
wear it when trying out new things.
I play the violin. I can also play the piano but not very well. I practisetwo hours a day. I like
the violin because it’s a very handy instrument. The best thing is playing in a school orchestra. I
dream of playing in the Philarmonic orchestra one day.
