Reservation
With us you can book in several different ways, we have an online reservation at
http://www.msbirgerjarl.se/se/hotell or via phone and email. The person booking must be over 18 years old and at
accomodation, at least one person who will spend the night in the cabin has to be 18 or older. All hotel guests must
show valid ID at request.
The reservation is confirmed when you receive a booking confirmation with a booking number by email from M / S
Birger Jarl Hotel & Hostel. If you have not received a confirmation within 24 hours after making your reservation,
please contact us. Please note that booking is not guaranteed until you receive a confirmation from M / S Birger Jarl
Hotel & Hostel.
In the very unlikely event that we cannot provide the booked accommodation, we will do our best to find a suitable
alternative accommodation. In such a case, you have the right to either accept the change or to cancel and receive a
full refund of your payment. M / S Birger Jarl Hotel & Hostel takes all precautions to avoid relocation of an
accommodation but will not take responsibility for any costs, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with
such an event.
Payment
If you book through our website paid your stay at once by credit card through a secure payment platform. When
payment is made by credit card online, you get a booking confirmation directly after booking procedure. We apply
the advance payment and accept Visa or MasterCard.
If you book by phone or mail payment is made on arrival, note that you must arrive before 18:00 o pay your stay to
guarantee your reservation.
Cash: We only accept Swedish money.
Invoice: If you wish to invoice your stay, we need to get the company's full details at least 7 days before arrival in
order to do a credit check. We also need approval by the signatory / owner to bill the company, we ask you to email
the information from the company's address. We have 10 days net, and then charged interest at the discount rate of
8%.
Guaranteed reservation
If you have made a reservation and no prepayment the booking is guaranteed until 18:00 at the arrival day.
Late arrival has to be notified to the front desk via email to - [email protected].

Cancellation Policy (does not aply to non refudable bookings)
Cancellation at the booked number of cabins 1-5
Free cancellation must be made via email the day before arrival at the latest at 18:00, then 100% of booked value will
be charged.
Cancellation at the booked number of 6-10 cabins
Free cancellation must be made via email at the late2 days before arrival, then 100% of booked value will be charged.
Cancellation at the booked number of cabins 11-15
Free cancellation must be made via email at the late 14 days before arrival, then 100% of booked value will be
charged.
Cancellation booked at the number of 16 or more cabins
Free cancellation must be made via email at the latest 28 days before arrival, then 100% of booked value will be
charged.
No show
Will be charged with 100% unless otherwise agreed in advance by mail.
Non Refundable reservations
These reservations cannot be changed or cancelled.
