Our Rent Guarantee policies are specifically designed to meet today’s challenges
exclusively for Letting Agents
With NIL excess, a total claims limit of £50,000 and a comprehensive range

How it works:
Per Tenant
Per Property
The Rent Guarantee and legal cover protects against each
specific Tenant failing to pay the rent or comply with the terms
of the tenancy agreement. An ‘Ultimate’ or ‘Express’ reference is
fully included at no additional cost. Our Tenant Support products also
enable you to protect against non payment of rent and are designed
specifically to aid Tenants who are in receipt of benefits.
The Rent Guarantee and legal cover protects each property
in the event of a rental default or breach of tenancy. Tenants
can leave the property and new Tenants can move in under
the same policy subject to qualifying through a Let Alliance
Ultimate reference.
Portfolio Transfer
Let Alliance has a unique opportunity for Letting Agents. We facilitate the transfer of your whole managed portfolio through a
simple process, allowing your Landlords to benefit from immediate protection and your business to guarantee fee income. This
proposition is exclusive to Let Alliance customers and the process is straightforward;
1. The Let Alliance customer development team work with you
and complete the initial spread sheet with the details of each
property to be protected
2. L
et Alliance send you a ‘draft’ letter (you are able to amend
in line with your firms communication style) for each of your
Landlords, informing them of the valuable protection that they
benefit from with immediate effect
3. F
inalised letters are sent to each Landlord and Let Alliance
places each property on immediate cover
4. Y
ou collect the fee from your Landlord from the following
months’ rent roll
5. L
et Alliance collect the ‘net’ cost to your business from
you, following the issue of a detailed invoice

Legals
Let Alliance will pay Legal Costs for the agent in trying to
gain possession of the property which has been let under the
tenancy agreement.
Examples of the protection which this cover provides
are as follows:
In the event of the Tenants defaulting in rent, Let Alliance will
pay the legal costs which are incurred in re-gaining possession
of the property, as well as paying the rent.
We will pay the court fees which are incurred in standard and
accelerated possession proceedings.
If a Tenant is served with a section 21 notice or Notice to Quit
and fails to vacate, Let Alliance will cover the legal and court
costs incurred.
Let Alliance will support the Letting Agent in the event of any
tenancy breach by the Tenant.

Let Alliance Rent Guarantee insurance is purchased by the Letting Agent which is the insured
party. It can be included within an agents, Managed, Rent Collection or Let-Only services to their
