YOUTH HOSTEL REGULATIONS
1. Rights of using this Hostel belong to children, school children, students, teachers and tutors as well
as to members of the Polish Youth Hostels Association and by the same token to foreigners. Sleeping
accommodation is available also for other people, on the condition that they follow this obligatory
Regulations.
2. Organized groups (above 10 persons) make reservation of the sleeping places in writing or with the
fax.
3. Booking of beds from individual persons are taken in in writing or by phone.
4. Groups of school children and single tourists, if necessary, can be received to the Hostel for an allday stay, behind the agreement of the Managing Director.
5. The visitors are admitted at reception from 5.00 pm to 9.00 pm, where they are inscribed into the
registration book of the Hostel, in agreement with the documents confirming identities and regulate
their owing charges according to the list of prices hanged out in the Hostel.
6. Male guests and female guests are being given their accommodation in separate rooms, allocated
by the operating personnel of the Hostel.
7. The excursion leader and people responsible for care in groups are obliged to spend the night in
the Hostel together with participants. Otherwise, the group cannot be accepted in the Hostel.
8. During benefiting from the sleeping accommodation in the Hostel, as far as the guest resigns the
Hostel bedclothes, this person must be provided with one's own bed-clothes (2 bed sheets or the
sleeping bag and the cushion cover).
9. Guests, before the night, should prepare beds to the sleep before 9.00 pm, in order to one could
check, whether everybody has a bed-clothes or the sleeping bag. Without the bed-clothes one is not
allowed to use the night's lodging.
10. From 10:00 pm until 6:00 am is obligatory lights-out with turning off the light. Tourists who come
late at night or leave at crack of dawn, should not disturb the remaining people's resting.
11. People who are making use of the Hostel should make beds and clean up the sleeping-rooms at
the latest up to 8.00 am.
12. From 10.00 am to 5.00 pm using of bedrooms is not allowed. Exceptions from this rule are
allowed only in extraordinary cases, behind the agreement of the Managing Director.
13. The preparation of meals can take place in the self-service kitchen. After consumption of the
meal in the dining room, one ought to wash off kitchenware and clean up tidily both the kitchen and
the dining room.
14. Any destruction and endamagement of objects constituting the property of the Hostel, should be
submitted to the Managing Director who describes the level of compensation.
15. In the Hostel are obligatory neat clothes, quiet and the courteous manner and also the
compliance with the principles of the culture.
16. Smoking and the consumption of alcohol or other natural stimulants in the Hostel are totally
forbidden. Practising any gambling games is also prohibited.
17. In the case of contravention of the regulations in the Hostel or of the misbehaviour, the
Managing Director is empowered to abolish the guilty person from the Hostel and can furthermore
notify about this the proper school, academy or organization.
18. Visitors can write any positive and negative remarks into the book of wishes and complaints of
the Hostel, which finds herself at the Managing Director.
19. In every matter concerning the lodging in the Hostel, such as: the assurance of the order, the
protection of property, the compliance with the principles of the community life, the personal
culture, which is not embraced in the statute and in the regulations - guests of the Hostel are obliged
to behave according to indications of the Managing Director of the Hostel.
