Greyhound Friends –

The 2016 GFFL Reunion will be held on Sunday October 2nd, 11:00am to
3:00pm.

The Reunion has moved back to the beautiful Miller-Knox Regional Park in
Point Richmond.

Reunion information is on pages 2-3 and pre-order forms are on pages 4-6.
A description of the new event, paw printing, is on page 8.

To ensure you get the lunches, shirts, and greyhound games you want,
please pre-order by September 4th.

The shirt design and colors are on page 7.

You do not need to pre-order anything to come to the Reunion! Only a
limited number of lunches and Reunion shirts will be available at the
Reunion if you decide to buy at the Reunion.

Greyhound Friends for Life 2016 Reunion
Sunday, October 2, 11am-3pm
Miller-Knox Regional Park, 900 Dornan Dr, Pt Richmond
It's that time again for GFFL's Annual Reunion. It's a GREYT
time for new adopters, first time attendees and seasoned
adopters to come hang out with their hounds with likeminded people. There will be plenty of shade, picnic tables, grills and room for sales
tables and games. Water for the dogs will be provided by GFFL Staff and bio-bags will
be available to help keep the park clean. This is a beautiful park right on the bay, with
plenty of parking right next to our picnic area (Big Meadow).





From I-580 in Richmond, exit at Canal Boulevard and go west.
From the East, Richmond Parkway turns into Canal Blvd as it approaches I-580.
Turn right onto W. Cutting Blvd.
Turn left onto S. Garrard Blvd. After going through the tunnel, S. Garrard turns into
Dornan Drive.
The park entrance is less than 0.5 miles ahead on the right.
This year’s graphic was created and generously donated by one of our own adopters
who prefers to remain anonymous. It is such a fun image and incorporates so many of
greyhound buzz words and phrases. Thank you – you know who you are!
Activities will include:
 Shopping at The Greyhound Boutique- shirts, hats, jewelry and other items for you
and your hounds
 Picnic Lunch
 Raffle drawings, Silent Auction, and Live Auction
 Blood Draw for repeat tick titer testing and Nail Trimming
 Games and Contests
 Photo Booth (professionally edited portrait of you and/or your dog, $20)
Lunches and Reunion Shirts should be ordered in advance using the order form. We
also ask that you pre-register for the games. (50yd Dash, Egg Relay, Steeplechase,
Bobbing for Hot Dogs and Cutest Rear End). Contests are $3 each or 3 for $8. There will
be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes and ribbons for each contest.
Lunch, Shirts, Contest registration and Nail trimmings payments can be made by Credit
Card or by using Paypal on the GFFL website, www.greyhoundfriendsforlife.org.
For safety reasons, ALL Greyhounds must be on leash at all times, Please, NO FLEXILEADS. Regular 4ft leads will be provided for people who arrive with Flexi-leads. We ask
that ALL Non-Sighthound family members remain home to prevent any negative
encounters between the Greyhounds and other breeds. Please be attentive at all
times of your Greyhound's behavior so that the reunion is a pleasant and safe event for
all.
