CONGRATULATIONS to Irresistible owned
and ridden by Lauren Bramley, winner of
PCHA $1000 Fall Classic!
The Junior social was so much fun! Special
THANK YOU to Jan Massaro, the first
speaker in our judges Q&A series for
answering questions from our junior
members. Many thanks to Kingsmeade Farm
with Project Equine Golden Years for sharing
about their program and encouraging kids to
“adopt” retired horses within their own barn.
THANK YOU to all who donated and bid on
auction items! This year’s Hunter Classic and Silent
Auction raised over $3,600 to benefit Equestrian Inc.
Horse Rescue. PCHA donated the remaining $400 to
present them with a check for $4,000!
Thank you to Kristie Dimarakis and Winding Oaks
Equestrian Center for sponsoring the silent auction
preview wine & cheese.

The Special Awards Committee is seeking
nominations for the following awards:
Dudley L. Hatch Memorial Fund
Each year a trainer from a different barn will nominate one of their students who they deem most
deserving and dedicated to receive $500 in horse show credit to any of the six PCHA shows in the
current show year. This award is intended to go to a student who does not have their own horse,
but is dedicated to the sport and has shown at PCHA.
Trainers may nominate one student from their barn and state why this student should be selected.
Sportsmanship Award
This award is presented to a junior rider and senior rider who consistently exhibit good
sportsmanship while competing at PCHA by having a good attitude towards their competitors, their
trainer, their equine athlete and their barn mates. In addition, this rider shows grace and dignity
when winning or losing.
Anyone may nominate. Nomination must include why this rider should receive this award.
Best Show Mom & Best Show Dad
This award is presented to a show mom and show dad who consistently goes above and beyond in
supporting their rider. Always at the show watching their rider and helping them get ready, the best
show moms and dads do way more than just show up.
Anyone may nominate. Nomination must include why the mom or dad should receive this award.
Behind the Scenes Award
This award may be presented to anyone involved in the show including a trainer, groom, in-gate
person, judge or crew member from the horse show personnel. There are many folks who go above
and beyond every horse show helping others. Help us highlight those who work behind the scene in
helping things to run smoothly.
Anyone may nominate. Nomination must include why this person should receive this award.
Nomination forms can be found at the horse show office
and the tower. You may also email your nominations to
Jody Rodriguez at [email protected] ALL
nominations must be received by December 1, 2016.
