Theatre Boys Fc committee meeting AGM agenda 26 June 2016 @ grand junction 12pm Apologies for absence Mark Allen , Paul Nicholson and John Summer who are working or booked up for day. Matters arising from last AGM May 2015 None not covered by the Agenda Appointment of New committee members Steven Simpson Paul Day and going forward Tom would like Ben Leeming as club captain/ Bernie Renegan as vice captain/ Paul Day as players rep and Steven Simpson as committee member. Chairs opening remarks & report Barry welcomed the 2 New committee members,which would help with organisation going forward. Secretary report The worst season in LSFL since it started with the weather meaning some teams went 3 month’s without playing.Good move for TBFC with us now playing at Ashton Community college, moving from Frenchwood their home since 1980’s. Boys just missed out on promotion to premier division and had a winning season finishing 5Th. Theatre Boys Fc in division one lancashire Sunday football league their 42 year in the league.A total of 46 players signed on for 2015/2016 season with 15 new players,3 players tfd out, 8 players tfd in and 6 players returning to the club.Also had one player Paul wade who tfd in and then out in the season. Playing record was played 32 games, won 13 lost 13 and 6 draws.Neil Golightly joined the management team and helping tom on match days, Tom in his 3Rd season as manager of Theatre Boys fc. Bad debts were a problem with over £300 owing at the end of season with late bookings fines and having to play players who owed money due to numbers at game. During the season Paul Day played his 100Th game for the Boys . Wish to thank Unite, Barry and Bernard for their sponsorship during the season.Also Grand Junction for match day refeshments and MOM pint Boys had passed the Charter standard health check for 2015/2016 season and received 5 new balls Summer League Boys have moved upto 2nd in division one and reached the quarter final of the Parkinson cup. Problems with discipline and LFA respect during the season. Matt capstick as been banned for 12 matches and fined £100( where is the money coming from?).We have removed him from playing list and need to report none payment of fine to LFA and LSFl league and Catforth league who may take action against TBFC.Geordie would sort out LFA respect forms for the current summer league team. Tresurer report Net loss for the season as bad debts and none payment by most of the players,which need to be sorted for next season with the cost of Ashton being £70 per game plus training costs. Money from Unite had to go on shirts and could not be off set for cost of new pitch. To date Secretary as had £300 in sponsorship money with more to come from Unite and new sponsors. Expenditure went up last season due to cost of training,plus additional costs which had to be paid due to stocks of paper etc running low and up keep of the website,plus purchase of New kit. Special thanks to geordie for taking the football card round and collecting monies at training and on match days when scranner not at game. Bernard as agreed to sponsor TBFC next season through Pit Stop Catering. Accounts and balance of accounts. Accounts had been sent out and no one had any questions. Tom will speak to the players before season start and we would look to start training after night matches finish. He would look to take over collecting of subs on match days so Scranner could concentrate on other duties. Current players bad debts All players who had debts at end of season have been told by Text,facebook and letter.Anyone with debts of over £10,have promised to pay at end of season presentation.LSFL have been told of the 6 Players and Registration secretary had put a stop on them signing for any team until debt is paid.Happy for these players to come back next season,but debts must be paid before they sign on. A number of players not informed about deposit(Johnny forbes rung me following letter). End of season trip and awards Presentation would take place on Sunday 10 july 2016 at Grand Junction after the Steve Collinson memorial game.,Bernard from Pit Stop will provide refreshments. Tom would take the players for a few drinks and Breakfast at Pitstop, one Saturday in July as Scranner as no free Saturday’s before start of new season. League changes 2016/2017 season Roll on roll off subs with 5 subs named who can all take part in game. Payment of referee’s expenses,£5 and linesman fee going upto £15 League have not finalished the league’s for the new season yet, but signing on forms are being completed and checked ready for LSFL go ahead to key on. Season starts on 21 August 2016 with cup games and 28 August 2016 for full league programme.First league meeting on Monday 15 August 2016 Need to have the season deposit once more and players do not play until it is paid.This season the £20 would be paid into social account and players could not use to off set unpaid match fees. Also need to increase match day fines for smoking ETC as Ashton have had some residents complaining and we did not want our contract cancelling.Agreed that players would get a warning first, then a £2.50 fine rising to £5 match fee. Would it be better to have one combined match fee and training, that way players would turn up for training knowing fee had been paid £10 in total. £5 match fee,£3.50 training and £1.50 trip???? AOB Website and my betting,we need to get players using this service.A number of players had registered for site but to date only scranner and 2 others had put any bets on.My club betting had sent out some posters and beer mats we could put up in the pub. Lots of bennefits to the club if the players sign up,don’t just say on facebook you are doing a bet but do it through TBFC website. Note season starts the weekend of the 21 August 2016,with first LSFL meeting on Monday 15 August 2016 Scranner needs to chase up LFA about Geordie being given an LFA number so he could go on whole game system and his first aid qualification used.
