Legal advice to players suggests they would have little problem voiding con- tracts, and could enter the AFL draft without Essendon receiving any compensation. The club has been lashed by the players’ association after the AFL charge sheet detailed a litany of concerns. They included players allegedly being given unknown substances without prescriptions, circumstantial evidence they were administered performanceenhancing drugs, and a culture of injections.
