Assistant Coach The Assistant Coach should support and assist the Head Coach. Education and Certification Requirements: • Prefer: Prior coaching experience • Prefer: Basic English Qualification and Previous Experience Required: • Previous experience working in an athletic or sports related area. • Experience working at a school. Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise sport areas and equipment, informing department secretary of maintenance needs. • Work closely with their respective Head Coach • Maintain a high knowledge base of sport and league functions in Mexico • Attend all practices set by the Head Coach and A&EL office • Attend all competitions as set by external/internal leagues and the ASF league liaison (may include evenings and weekends) • Attend all meetings and ceremonies as requested by the Athletics Coordinator or Head of A&EL. • Always be present and prepared 15 minutes prior to the starting times of activities. • Commit 8 hours of assistance for any home ASOMEX tournament regardless of sport (to be coordinated through the Athletics Coordinator) • Assist with any other sporting events or functions deemed necessary by the Head Coach or Athletics Coordinator. • Keep accurate attendance records as directed by the Athletics Coordinator or Head Coach. • Follow the guidelines outlined in the Athletics Handbook. Supervises: No one. Evaluation: Reports to and is evaluated by: The Head Coach. Shall be evaluated annually according to procedures established by school policy.
