Peer Buddies: Social Skills Dyad
For those who have limited verbal abilities or are not ready for a larger social
skills group, Peer Buddies is a first step. Each individual will be paired with an
age appropriate partner and a Behavior Consultant to develop communication
and social interaction through fun, multiple modalities.
Pairings will be developed as appropriate peers are enrolled.

Yoga Time
Yoga Time at Interactive Kids is a fun sensory-based movement program that is
adapted for children with a variety of cognitive, physical and social challenges.
This group will embed attention, listening skills, turn taking and following
directions into yoga time activities weekly. Children’s stories and creative
movement games are used to improve strength, coordination, balance,
brain/body integration and social skills. Art, imagery and breath techniques
are used to reduce stress, improve focus and teach self-calming.

use of modeling, supported practice
and immediate feedback.

STRIKE Teenage Social Skills Group
This group is designed to prepare young adults to
manage the pressures of social situations in high
school, college or on the job, while concentrating
on working collaboratively with others on a
project. The primary focus includes:
compromising/ negotiating, accepting and or
rejecting ideas, communicating effectively,
conversational skills, eye contact, problem
solving, establishing friendships, and anger
management.

Play Group
Social Skills Groups
Specific areas of concentration can
include friendship skills, cooperation,
self-regulation and emotion
management. The specific goals
targeted will be determined by the
needs of the children within each group.

ADD it Up! Group
ADD it Up! Social Skills Group
Get Focused on the Solutions! This group is for
children with ADD/HD and/or behavioral
challenges. This group will focus on activities that
stress interaction and cooperation. Board games,
building projects, role-play, and hands-on
activities will be utilized to provide the greatest
opportunity for learning appropriate social skills
and controlling impulsivity.
LEGO® Social Skills Group
While working collaboratively with
others on Lego© projects, children will
learn the following: working together,
communicating effectively with others,
eye contact, problem solving,
establishing friendships, compromising
and anger management.

Cost: $440 per
8-week session
Early Registration Discount
of 10%, when registered
30 days prior to class.
Registration closes one
week prior to the start of
class. A $25 late fee will
be applied after this time.

detailed recommendations
provided at the conclusion
of the 8-week session.
Note, participant must
attend a minimum of 5
sessions to receive a
progress report.
