Build a Custom Arcade Machine from Scratch Summer Camp June 19-22, 2017 Attention 8th – 12th graders Over the course of four days, you will work with a team of students to completely build a working arcade machine from scratch. This camp features: (1) Assemble a wooden tabletop arcade cabinet (including speakers, led lights, and artwork) (2) Fabricate custom video game controls (joysticks and buttons) (3) Install and configure Raspberry Pi hardware (4) Install and configure video game operating system (5) And of course…. PLAY!!! No prior programming or computer hardware experience required. Application materials are available from your school guidance counselor or at www.carteret.edu Lunch and snacks will be provided each day All applications and fees must be submitted by Friday, April 28, 2017. Cost - $200 per student for the camp. This is an intensive, hands-on camp for serious students. This is a one of a kind camp lead by an instructor who has built and repaired custom arcade machines for over 20 years.
