Heather reported :
• At this time, we have 20 horse signed up for the show. The show has only been open for
registration for a week and numbers are expected to be good.
• Travel plans and accommodations for the judges and TD are all confirmed.
• Heather discussed a Pony Club fundraiser with Allison Murphy. Pony Clubbers could
strip stalls at the show for a fee that would be split with CDEC.
• Shavings will be provided at no cost with a $5 delivery fee.
• She will be at LCCC in the show office by 9 am Friday if anyone wants to bring anything
for the show.
• Runners, gatekeepers, etc can all be signed up for on the 2 White Feet website.
• She will do the program for the show and has exhibitor bags to donate for use (leftover
from Paragon).
• She will get bottles of water and various other treats for the office.
Plants for the show need to be picked up at Riverbend Nursery early Friday. Becky O’Leary is
covering this.
Arena set-up will be by 9 am so riders can school their horses after noon on Friday. Diane
Wenzel is lending her truck and flatbed trailer for this purpose. Jeff Bostron will coordinate
delivery of the arena.
Caryn and Jeff have large water coolers to bring to the show.
Laurie has given 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th place ribbons, office supplies, and Walkie-talkies to Caryn to
take to the show.
Sue and Heather will work financial arrangements to get vendors and High Score cash prizes to
be paid at show’s end.
Ruth and Deeda will put together welcome bags for the judges and TD. Grace will make the
bags for this purpose.
Silent Auction- Caryn Malone is handling this event in conjunction with the Recognized Show.
Please let Caryn know if you have an item and plan to get it to her prior to the show. We have 15
items so far.

The “Tack Garage Sale” has been cancelled. We have no support from Pony Club for this event
and an even bigger issue is coverage under the club’s insurance policy. The insurance company
will not cover this event in the case of defective tack purchased at this sale and later causing an
injury. It was decided that this was too big a liability for the club or any individuals to cover. If
you are interested in selling any of your used tack, consider sending it the information to be
posted as an ad on the CDEC website.
CDEC Website- There was discussion about any options we may have if Veronica Harris
decides she can no longer maintain the site for us. She is moving in the near future, but as of
this time thinks she can still volunteer to handle this for the club.

Pony Club requested the use of the CDEC arena for their Rally June 19-20. This request was
voted on by email by the CDEC Board and passed in the affimative with a 4-1 vote.

provide plates, cups, utensils. Laurie Box agreed to bring the brisket and all other members are
to bring sides and desserts. Bring your own beverages. RSVP to Sue at 634-1743 or
