Westlake Girls High School is a recognised leader in many sporting codes, regionally and
nationally. Hockey is a sporting code that offers outstanding facilities for players with an
international hockey turf onsite. In 2016 there were six teams competing in their respective
competitions, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th XI and two junior teams. The school aims to grow the hockey
programme in the future.
We invite interest from coaches for the 2017 season (for all teams) and assistant coaches for
premier teams. We also invite interest from people with experience in video analysts for our
top teams. Managers are also invited to apply.
The successful applicants will be suitably qualified and experienced to coach and lead hockey
teams. They will also have a sound understanding of secondary school hockey and the ability
to work effectively in a team environment.
