Unless otherwise stipulated in the Round Supplementary
Regulations the Clerk of the Course, Chief Steward and
Grid Marshalls will be the same for all four rounds of the
series.

$90 per driver per meeting if driver pre-nominates (prepayment for each round is encouraged via Secure Pay
only) or $100 if driver nominates on the day of the
meeting.

Practice Details
Practice will be available to competitors from 8.00am to
10.15am on the Saturday of each meeting.
Each round will consist of 1 only 6 minute qualifying
session, 3 heats and a Final.
The system used for determining the grid positions at each
round will be Format 3 as per the 2017 Permitted Systems
of Gridding Club Competition.

Series point scores will be placed on the KA Queensland
web site after each round
SQ Series Points Method
To determine the final placings for the SQ Series, points will be
allocated from the overall results of each round.
All heats will count for overall points at each round.

Overall points for each round allocated as follows
eg. Field of 30 will have points awarded through to 25th place. Places
26th through to 30 will receive 0 points.

The top 5 qualifiers in each class will be allocated points as follows

The driver with the most number of points at the conclusion of
the final round (Round 4 Cooloola) will be declared the overall
winner of the 2017 SQ Series in their respective Class.
Prizes
Timetable
Trophies will be awarded for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place at each
race meeting.
2017 Southern Queensland Series trophies will be awarded to
the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placing according to the points method
calculated over all 4 rounds.
Prizes will be offered by way of random draws at each round.
Drivers must be present at the draw after trophy presentation to
be eligible for the prizes.
