Articulated Masters Degree
Programs
Planning and Public Policy Programs: BA or BS/MCRP, BA or BS/MPP at the
Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Interested
students must have:
• at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA
•take GRE in fall of junior year
• apply by February 1st of junior year
Public Health Program: BS/MPH in conjunction with Rutgers School of Public
Health-Piscataway. Interested students must:
• have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA
• between 60-90 credits (preferably rising juniors)
• grades of at least a ‘B’ in statistics or research methods
• no more than one ‘C’ in required science courses (for ENOH concentration)
• The GRE is waived for this program
Bloustein Research Fellows
Public Health, Planning and Public Policy, and Public
Policy students interested in applied research, i.e.,
community development, energy, health, transportation
policy, urban planning or workforce development - and
holding a major grade-point average of 3.400 or better,
are encouraged to apply to the honors research courses.
The courses will replace the internships for the above
majors.
Ralph W. Voorhees Center for Civic Engagement Fellowship Program (undergraduates and graduates)
Students work collaboratively on projects in
communities in New Jersey. Up to five undergraduates
are selected each year. Fellowships are $5,000 each. You
must have at least 60 credits to apply.

Fellowship Program (non-traditional public health students)
For the 2016-2017 academic year, two (2) undergraduate
students in the public health major will be selected to
receive the Allard Fellowships. The two fellows will receive
$2000 each. DEADLINE IS OCTOBER 3rd.

Grade Policy
All courses pertaining to your major must be completed
with a grade of ‘C’ or better.
If a student receives a ‘D’ grade in a required course, he
or she must retake the course and receive a ‘C’ or
better in order to satisfy the requirement.
There will be no exceptions to this policy.
Special Permission Policy
Requests for special permission numbers should be sent to
[email protected]
SP# Policy: Students have 5 days to utilize the special
permission number issued to them. After that, the number
will be reissued to another student.
We do not have wait lists. So, please plan accordingly.

Grade Appeals
• Students must speak with the course professor or
instructor regarding grades.
• If a professor/instructor and student are unable to find a
solution, the student may then contact the Bloustein
School's Undergraduate Program Director.
• If the issue remains unresolved, the matter will be
reviewed by the Bloustein School's Assistant Dean for
Student and Academic services. The decision of the
Assistant Dean is final.
