Roster printing/Game Scoring/Entering Player Jersey Numbers Simple Directions on Accessing your Game Roster/Game Scoring Go to the Affinity site: http://oysa.affinitysoccer.com/ Enter your user name and password in the upper left corner. If you don’t have a user name and password or can’t remember please contact your club registrar or the OYSA registrar. They can look up your user name and reset your password. Once logged in click on the MY ACCOUNT tab above your name. This will pull up your profile with all your family members and the teams with which you and your listed family members are associated. Scroll down to the Tournament Applications/Game Scoring section. Oregon coaches/team managers will usually find this as the 3rd box below their family information. Washington coaches/team managers will typically find this as the first box below their personal information. Click on the Schedules/Game Scoring link. This will open the bracket and schedule for your team. [Note: Only coaches and team managers listed on the Affinity roster for a team will be able to print rosters and enter scores.] Each game has a specific roster that includes both the home team and the visiting team. The Print Roster button will appear 4 days before the game date. Click on the PRINT ROSTER button to print. Referees have been instructed to only accept rosters printed from Affinity. Players who are suspended for a match will have a red R on the line with their name. Please keep in mind that if you have more than one game on a weekend, disciplinary issues are not updated until the following week. If a coach is ejected or a player receives a red card during the first weekend game, the roster for the next game(s) will not reflect the game (or games) suspension, even if the roster for the next game(s) is printed just before the second match. Coaches are responsible for tracking player eligibility. Any player that is sent off, or coach who is ejected, is suspended for AT LEAST the next game. [Refer to competition rules for suspension minimums for specific offenses.] Participation by an ineligible player or coach will result in a forfeit of that game, and there may be additional penalties for a player or coach who participates when they know that they are suspended. Entering Game Scores After your match has been played, go to the same Schedules / Game Scoring link as used to print the roster, and then click on the box in the Score column for the game. A new Game Stats window will open. Enter your score for the match in the home team and visiting team score boxes indicated by the arrows. Once scores are entered click on the “Save Stats & Comment” button at the bottom center of the window. Game scores are entered by both home and away teams. Only a coach or team manager who is listed on the Affinity roster and who has an Affinity login can enter scores. It is extremely important that all scores are entered by BOTH TEAMS into the system directly after games. Standings are automatically updated as scores are entered. When scores aren’t entered the same by both teams you will see a red “(CS)” in the score box. This means that conflicting scores have been entered. The league/tournament director will resolve conflicts by entering the score as reported by the referee. If scores aren’t entered by Monday noon the league director will enter the score from the referee’s report. Please do not enter who scored the goals as the league does not maintain goal scoring statistics. DO NOT enter any cautions or ejections as those will be entered by the league/tournament director from referee reports. If you incorrectly post a score, contact the league/tournament director [see the contact information in the rules] or OYSA registrar Desia Bramel, [email protected] , 503-626-4625 X228 Entering jersey numbers Please make sure that all player jersey numbers have been entered prior to printing your rosters. You only need to enter jersey numbers once. Washington teams: Login to your Affinity account, click the My Account tab, and then click the Edit link for your team in the Tournament Application / Game Scoring section. Click on the Player Roster tab on the top bar. Then click on the Edit Player Team Info button at the bottom right of your screen. This will let you enter your entire team’s jersey numbers at one time. Be sure to enter the numbers in both the home and away columns as the information entered in the home column is used when your team is the home team and the information from the Away column is used when your team is the Away team for a match. Oregon Teams: Login to your Affinity account and then click on the “My Account” tab. Scroll down to the “Teams” section which shows the teams that you and your family are associated with. If you are rostered to the team, you will see an Edit link on the line with the team name. Click the edit link. The team roster will open. Click the “Edit Player Team Info” button. On the next screen that opens, enter the jersey numbers in both the home and away columns – even if the numbers are the same. The system will fill the jersey number column of the match rosters with the information from the Home column when your team is the designated home team and from the Away column when your team is the designated visiting, or “away” team. Be sure to click the “Save Changes” button when you are done. The jersey numbers entered here will automatically appear on the league and tournament rosters of any competition that your team enters through Affinity.
