Lympstone Players Perform For Charity

Lympstone Players Perform For Charity
Two recent sell-out performances of The Regina Monologues by The Lympstone Players at The
£785.00. The Lympstone Players
would like to thank everyone for their generous support and at a recent
presentation evening at The Redwing, were delighted to present a cheque to
local charity SAFE (Stop Abuse For Everyone). SAFE is an established Devon
Lympstone Sailing Club generated a substantial profit of
charity that provides vital services in our community to stop domestic violence and abuse.
If you missed The Regina Monologues at The Lympstone Sailing Club, then
join The Lympstone Players for an encore performance at The Bike Shed
Theatre, Exeter on Monday, 16th May. This one-act play is a great piece of
theatre - both moving and hilariously funny. With a soulful dash of Nina Simone,
in a contemporary setting, the six wives of Henry VIII give their entwined
perspectives on living with one of our most famous monarchs. Again, all profits
made by The Players will go to SAFE (Stop Abuse for Everyone). Do come
along to support this charity event. Tickets available on-line from
www.bikeshedtheatre.co.uk.
