DESCRIPTION
IOTA’s PE-BC Series injection-molded thermoplastic exit signs combine lightweight,
durable design with emergency lighting capability for either wall or ceiling installations.
IOTA PE-BC Series exit signs offer designs with either red or green illumination with
dual adjustable 3.5W LED lamp heads for bi-directional illumination in the event of
a loss of normal AC power. The PE-BC Series is suitable for both single-sided and
double-sided applications. The PE-BC Series is UL Listed for use in damp locations.

SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FEATURE (OPTIONAL)
When AC power is supplied to the fixture, the self-testing feature is automatically initiated as follows:
Tests the status of the battery, charger board, lamps, and transformer every five seconds.
Conducts a full 1-minute test once every month.
Conducts a 30-minute test every six months.
Conducts a 90-minute test every twelve months.
The status of the unit is communicated via a dual-color LED indicator. If during the self-testing procedure, the unit encounters a
fault, the dual-color LED indicator will flash Red, using the following diagnostic codes:
One Flash
Battery is not connected
Two Flashes
Battery is shorted or battery voltage drops below acceptable levels
Three Flashes
Charger Board failure
Four Flashes
Transformer failure
Five Flashes
Lamp failure
Six Flashes
Remote Lamp failure (if present)
Seven Flashes
Exit LED strip failure (for Exit Signs only)
A four-second interval will occur between codes
