1. I/We pledge
1.(a) to abide by the rules and regulations of the Ecotourism Society of India
1.(b) to observe the highest ethical standards in the conduct of my /our business, without
reservation or equivocation of any kind, consistent with the aims and objectives of the
Society and those in operation.
1.(c) to abide by and communicate the pledge of good practice of Ecotourism Society of India
on our publicity material.
1.(d) to abide by the pledge of sustainable tourism and safe and honorable tourism.
2. I/We also understand and accept that
2(a) any member who shall act against the interests of the Society
2(b) do not abide by the laws of the Society
2(c) violate any of the rules of business conduct or the covenant established by the Society
2(d) whose conduct or action in the opinion of the Governing Body is deemed improper or
prejudicial to the Society
2(e) is detrimental to the tenets of eco-tourism espoused by the Society
after due inquiry, be excluded thereafter from the membership of the Society.
3. I/We agree and undertake to intimate to the Society any change in my/our status/constitution and /or
conventional or corporate name and address by any reason whatsoever within 30 days of any such
change being effected.
4. I/We do hereby agree to intimate the Society in writing about any change in the present ownership
of the company / institution.
