ENGLISH: Practice the following patterns in a four lined thin
notebook. (4pages for each pattern)
Learn any one Alphabet Rhyme.
MATH:. Paste pictures of 1,2 numbers (Use separate page for each number).
Learn Oral counting 1-10.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE:
Nature walk: Go for a nature walk early morning. On your way, talk
about the trees, birds, etc. Collect different types of leaves and use
them to make a collage.(DO NOT PLUCK LEAVES)
Remember to share your fun moments with us - get pictures clicked
of yourself and family. Paste them in a scrapbook which everyone can
admire.
Paste five pictures for each of the following colours: Red, Yellow,
Blue, Green and Black.
VALUE EDUCATION:
Inculcate responsibilities: Even little ones can be taught to help in
daily chores. They can help in laying the table, filling the water
bottles, dusting, cleaning their cupboards, arranging their toys, etc.
Help in some of these daily household chores and become more
responsible.
ENGLISH CONVERSATION: It is also important that your child learns to
converse in English. Here are some tips......
The child should say his/her name in a full sentence.
Teach the child to use short sentences. For e.g.
o May I go to the washroom
o Please open my water bottle/tiffin box
o May I drink water
o May I come in
Converse with the child in English using small sentences.
Do picture reading.

• Recite any rhyme everyday with voice modulation and actions.
• Learn one poem with introduction and actions . Theme- Fruits /Vegetables
Social and Emotional Development
• Ask Grand Parents to tell a bed time story to your child
• Ask your child to share his/her daily routine with his/her Grand Parents.
• Encourage your child to converse freely with visitor/relatives who come over to house.
• Take your child to the park and encourage him/her to make friends.
Physical Development
• Let’s do Yoga and Aerobics.
• Play with ball(catch, throw, kick the ball)
Experiential Development
• Take your child for a nature walk and let him/her explore the beauty of nature.
• Tell your child to look after plants at home. Water them regularly. Let him/her
see what
happens to them if he/she forget to water them for a day or two.
Creative Development
• Click the photographs of your ward while watering the plants, while playing in the park,
while feeding the birds and animals, sharing time with grandparents and paste them in the
scrap book .
Every Day
• Give your child a hug & say "I love you."
• Praise your child.
• Talk to your child.
• Listen to the music with your child.

Try to be independent during this summer break and learn to

• Pack up your bag.
• Eat lunch on your own.
• Fold your mat and apron.
• Zipping and unzipping the bag.
Motor Development
• By doing vegetable/Thumb/Leaf printing/Paper tearing and pasting etc. design a
birthday card with a message for your friend.
• Colour any 10 objects like sun, tree, ball, icecream etc. in the scrap file
• Make objects of your choice with clay(e.g.patterns, shapes, flower, fruits, etc.)
