THE GBID GETS IT DONE! Our Gulch Business Improvement District (GBID) staff works every day in the district, focusing on keeping The Gulch clean, safe and attractive. They have been at work for you for more than 3,000 days since the GBID started up on January 1, 2007—with a noticeable difference. Daily litter removal, sidewalk sweeping and pressure washing, weed removal, and removing graffiti tags (an average of 23 per month) within 24 hours to prevent recurrences. It’s all in a day’s work for the GBID team. Your GBID assessments also support safety/hospitality teams who assist visitors and provide extra security—helping make The Gulch a safe place to live, work, shop and eat. The GBID has also added more trash receptacles to the district, seasonal flower planters along the streets, and 70 banners (replaced twice each year). The Gulch neighborhood has changed dramatically since 2007—and more hotels, offices and residential developments are under construction and planned. By the end of 2015, the GBID will have over 2,000 residents and about 3,000 employees. With increased density and more visitors coming to hotels, restaurants and shops, the GBID’s focused attention to details will be even more important. NashvilleGulch NashvilleGulch thegulchnashville The current GBID term ends December 31, 2016. To continue the services now provided (plus any additional programs that are needed), GBID property owners must participate in the process required to have Metro Council re-establish the district. Otherwise, these services stop. Imagine all the litter, weeds, and graffiti tags you would see! Contact Us 615-414-8334 or 615-743-3090 or [email protected] KEEP THE GBID GOING!
