TO SPEAK AT LSI LITIGATING CLASS ACTIONS CONFERENCE

Lake Success, N.Y. (Oct. 17, 2011) – Jeanne C. Finegan, APR, senior vice president, communications and
legal notice expert at the Garden City Group, Inc. (GCG), will be a featured speaker at the upcoming Law
Seminars International (LSI) Litigating Class Actions Conference in Chicago, Illinois.
LSI’s Litigating Class Actions two-day conference, to be held Oct. 24 and 25, is designed to inform and
discuss developments in class action litigation. Finegan’s presentation, Class Action Notice: Rules and
Statues Governing Notice-FRCP (b)(3) “Best Practicable,” will explore what constitutes a best practicable
notice and what practitioners and courts should expect in the new era of online and social media.
Finegan has more than 20 years of communications and advertising experience and is a recognized expert
by courts both throughout the country and internationally. She is Accredited in Public Relations (APR) by
the Universal Accreditation Board, a program administered by the Public Relations Society of America, and
is also recognized by the Canadian Public Relations Society.
Finegan has developed hundreds of the nation’s largest and most high profile notice programs for a wide
range of class actions and consumer matters, including product liability, construction defect, anti-trust,
