Stakeholder specifications
• Provide direct (open) access to existing biodiversity data databases.
• Use policy targets as a search criteria for data mining
• Active tools on the data portal should provide some first impressions of trends in
data sets.
• It should be possible to compare your own data with stocked data
• You should be able to zoom in on a region, species or data of interest.
• There should be catalogues or maps of the data portal that indicate which data
sources, monitoring schemes, BONs are linked to this data portal.
• The interface has to be easy to use and appealing for the users.
• To allow for citizen scientists to find monitoring schemes in their area to which they
can contribute.
• To be able to include already available tools
