Come eliminare tutti i caratteri di un file di testo eccetto uno ad esemio il ";"
utile per verificare riga per riga il numero di uno stesso carattere...
ad esempio negli spool può capitare che un valore in un campo contenga già il ";" e quindi in fase di importazione
possono esserci dei problemi (se si usa il ";" come separatore):
CTRL+R (REPLACE) >> Nella casella cerca inserire:
[~;^p]
(il ^p è il simbolo di ritorno a capo; il tilde ~ è la negazione)
checcare "expression regular" >> Replace All
1) Trovare la differenza tra due file TXT in modo professionale e con UltraEdit:
Installare il programma UltraCompare Prof (in allegato) che si lega con ultraedit: FILE >> COMPARE FILES
1) Rimuovere righe con particolare stringa:
CTRL+R
Find What:
%*LA STRINGA*^p
Replace With: (nulla)
2) Esportare le configurazioni dell'ultraedit?
Copiare:
uedit32.ini
uedit32.kbd
e la seguente voce di registro:

3) How do I keep lines from wrapping at 4096 bytes?
UltraEdit-32 does allow longer line lengths. Under the Advanced -> Configuration -> General in the Display section
you can change the value of "Maximum columns before line wraps" to 20,000.
This setting sets the maximum columns allowed within UltraEdit before it wraps the line (soft wrap). The default is
4096 columns but a maximum of 20,000 is allowed. Some video drivers have a problem when this is set too high.

Nella versione 12.10a di UltraEdit è finalmente stata aggiunta una modalità di apertura file simile a quella del Lister
(per chi non lo conoscesse, permette di fare ricerche in un file senza farti attendere una vita per aprirtelo).
In Impostazioni/Gestione File/Files Temporanei si può scegliere il tipo di apertura e la soglia oltre alla quale
utilizzare quella "veloce".
