Call for Papers (2017)

The editors and editorial board of the Journal for International Law of Peace and Armed
Conflict invites authors to submit suitable articles to be published in 2017.
The Journal for International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict is unique among German
publications, but its effects reach much further because it also features articles in English.
One of the aims of the Journal is to combine academic examination and practical usefulness for the
dissemination of international humanitarian law and neighboring fields. It is addressed to lawyers,
people interested in legal and political scene and members of humanitarian organisations.
Our upcoming deadlines are:
1st Deadline: 15 April 2017
2nd Deadline: 30 August 2017
Articles can be submitted in German and English language. An article should not exceed 6,000
words (without footnotes) and/or 20 pages. Apart from that conference papers, book reviews (on
request) and judgement reviews concerning international humanitarian law with a length of 3–5
pages can be submitted. Further information is available on the website of the Institute for
International Law of Peace and Armed Conflict (IFHV) under “Notes for Authors”. All articles will
be reviewed by the editorial and advisory board.
