AT THE JOBURG MARKET IN CITY DEEP,
JOHANNESBURG.
The Johannesburg Fresh Produce Market (SOC)
Limited (“Joburg Market”) is a municipal entity
established by the City of Johannesburg to manage and
operate its fresh produce market. Joburg Market is the
biggest fresh produce market in Southern Africa by
volume and value of fresh produce traded daily and has
a buyer base comprising wholesalers, retailers,
exporters, processors, informal traders and those buying
for household use.
Please note that each proposal must include the
following documents and/or information failing which the
proposal will not be considered:
The Property Department of Joburg Market is inviting
interested parties to submit proposals to rent facilities for
trade purposes. The following facilities are available:

1. Shops Complex
Shop no 1: measuring approximately 370m 2
suitable for a butchery, fast food franchise or
equivalent available for a 3/three year lease. Shop
fittings and facelift are necessary. The proposed
rental rate is R77/m 2. Utilities are billable per
meter readings.
