Itinerary for:
05 Days and 4 Nights – Selous and Mikumi
Safari Name – Part I: “Selous Wildness Experience”
Destination:
Selous Game Reserve
Day 1: Pick Up, transfer to Selous Game Reserve
You will be picked up from Dar Es Salaam or Morogoro town early morning of this
day to start trip to Selous Game reserve via Morogoro town. After greetings and
introduction you will start the trip. This trip takes you via Chalinze, Morogoro town
and then to Selous via Kisaki village. It is possible to connect to Selous on the same
day so that the next day you start game drives. Once in Morogoro town will have
lunch break, refresh and after that drive to Kisaki village.
Dinner and overnight stay Selous Mbega camp, Kisaki annex.
Day 2: Full day game drive
This day will be dedicated to enjoying the wilderness of the great Selous Game
reserve. You will leave early morning of this day with packed breakfast and lunch
boxes to go for full day game drive covering different attractions within the reserve.
Dinner and overnight stay at Mbega Camp, Kisaki Annex.
Day 3: Walking Safari and Transfer to Mikumi
Early morning of this day will leave for walking safari accompanied by a guide.
Walking tours are a good experience to get close to nature and enjoy the wilderness
while walking on foot. You may have breakfast before the walk or will take packed
breakfast with you.
When you come back to the camp you will start drive to Morogoro town where you
will have lunch and refresh before continuing with drive to Mikumi National Park.

Safari Name – Part II: “Mikumi Wildlife Experience”
Destinations:
Mikumi National Park
Day 4: Full day game drive
In the morning of this day you will start game drive with packed breakfast. You will
continue with game drives covering different wildlife areas of interests. At around
13:00 hours you will have lunch break at Mikumi Wildlife Camp whereby you have
an opportunity to view animals as they roam the water holes nearby the camp while
having your meal.
Later on after lunch break will continue with game drive till around 16:30 hours and
that will be the end of a full day game drive. Observe sunset at the camp, dinner and
over nights stay at your chosen accommodation.
Day 5: - Sunrise game drive and Transfer back to Dar
Early in the morning of this day you will have sunrise game drive from around 06:30
to 08:30 hours then will come back to the camp for breakfast and start trip back to
Dar via Morogoro town so that you can be able to get to Dar early (please advice if
you have exact time you need to be back in Dar as this will determine the time to
leave the park). Will have lunch stop in Chalinze before proceeding to Dar.
Once in Dar you will be taken to the airport/ferry/hotel (advice place you need to be
transferred to after the safari) any other place of your choice and that will be the end
of your 5 days/4 nights tour with Watu Safaris.
