Generations have had the pleasure and
excitement of playing ball at Paris Lion’s Park.
The spectators, whether family, friends or
visitors from other centers have cheered,
encouraged and supported our children from
those just learning the game to our recognized
champions. As they all developed a love for the
game, improved their skill set and made life
long friendships.
The Field of Continuing Dreams Project will
ensure that the next generations will also have
the pleasure, and experience the same summer
pastime in our park with the game opener.

The “Field of Continuing Dreams
Campaign, is being spearhead by the
Paris Parks Foundation in support
Paris Youth Softball Association.
The goal is to raise
$200,000 through the
efforts of families
with players, fans
who have enjoyed
the sport, corporate
sponsors and grants.

can be used by all
local softball players
to develop their skills

sizes to offer programs
for players aged 4 - 18

“a whole new ball game”
1. Replace, regrade,
reposition and expand
the ball fields allowing
better access for persons
of all abilities both as
athletes and spectators.
2. Replace the current
dugouts, player benches,
spectator seating and
fencing allowing for
expanded use and
accessibility.
3. Build an accessible
Club House with a
universal washroom,

the last major phase
of the Community
Miracles Project started
by the Lions Club of
Paris in 2010.

4. Install brighter,
energy efficient on-field

walkway facilities to
accommodate greater
volumes of vehicles
and families.
6. Construct an equipment maintenance
building for grooming
equipment and softball
equipment storage.
