Blaxhall Trip Year 5 Tuesday 7th June-Friday 10th June 2016 Why Blaxhall? The children get to take part in a range of activities that differ from their regular learning opportunities. The activities are exciting and engaging. The children get to learn in a new environment. They will be able to develop skills such as team work, perseverance, and independence. Activities-Day 1 Shelter building Adventure playground Activities Day 2 RSPB-bird watching and pond dipping Beach art and beach time Activities-Day 3 Farm Southall beach and ice-cream Activities-Day 4 Suffolk Punch Year 6 voice You learn how to do chores and look after yourself. You learn to be independent. You child has a fun experience and leaves with good memories. The children get to spend lots of time with their friends doing really fun activities. You learn about different people from different places. You see interesting things you have never seen before e.g. when pond dipping. Eijaaz and Hanifa Organization 3 adults from Harry Gosling will attend with the children for the four days The children will travel by coach there and back. Girls and boys will have separate rooms. The children will be provided with 3 meals a day and will receive a special treat of ice-cream on their day at the beach. Numbers of children We have spaces for 30 children to attend Blaxhall. It will be done on a first come first serve basis. The first 30 children with returned slips and their deposit will be allocated the spaces for the trip. The letter of permission will go out to children today (Thursday 19th November 2015). Cost For each child the cost will be £50.00 (we have received a grant which has lowered the cost considerably for each child) We will require a £ 10.00 deposit when you return the slip. The rest of the money can be done in instalments Rouhe (in the office) will set each parent up with a payment card and you can pay the balance off as you can afford it The full £50.00 must be paid by Friday the 27th of May 2016.
