HALIFAX HARRIERS TRIP TO BENIDORM
10K and HALF MARATHON
Friday 24th to Monday 27th NOVEMBER 2017
(Date to be confirmed – but it is almost certain to be on this date)
Halifax Harriers are off on their travels again in 2017 and it’s back to Benidorm after a 2 year
lapse. There will be the choice of running 10k or half marathon. Both races are on the Sunday
and start at 10:00am. There will be about 1,200 runners in each race.
Online entries are not yet open but will
probably cost about €15.
We will travel out from Leeds/Bradford
to Alicante with Jet2 on Friday 24th
November at 10:30am arriving at
14:30pm.
Return from Alicante to Leeds/Bradford
is by Ryanair on Monday 27th at
19:50pm arriving back at 21:50pm.
At present the cost of flights are
Outward £48 and Return £58.
We will have mini-buses for the transfers to/from
Leeds/Bradford Airport and also from Alicante to
Benidorm.
Our hotel is the Melia Benidorm which we will book for 3
nights on half board (buffet meals). At the moment we
have 8 Twin/Double rooms reserved at the price below.
The cost per person for all transfers and the hotel on half
board for a Twin/Double room is £170. (Single room cost
is £235). This price may change after the 8 rooms have
been taken.
If you would like to join the trip, please let me have a £20 per person deposit by 1st January 2017.
FREE CANCELLATION OF THE HOTEL.
Should you be unable to travel I will be able to refund the hotel cost only (not flight costs or race
entry). The hotel booked this year can be cancelled up to ONE WEEK before we travel, without
loss of any payments.
The balance of £150 per person in Twin/Double Rooms (Single Room £215) will be due by 1st
November 2017.
You must book your own flights and race entry.
