Attention Grade 11’s and 12’s
Alberta Education no longer mails out diploma exam results or diploma statements. All information
will be available to students on the Alberta Education myPass system where you can view and print
diploma exam result statements, order transcripts, as well as view and print detailed academic
reports (DAR). If you have not already created your personal myPass account you can pick up
information in the office to get started now.

Bonduelle wants you and your friends to harvest peas
this summer! Join our summer crews!
Operators: Operate pea combines, perform basic
maintenance, and field transfers.
Mechanic’s Assistants: Assist with daily maintenance, check
and update basic maintenance reports. Some mechanical
knowledge required. Great for students: Work from early
July to late August, carpool and work with your friends, fields
located in Taber/Barnwell area, training provided, 8 hour shift.
You must have a drivers license and steel-toed work shoes

Health Sciences Career Academy – August 8–11, 2017 For Students in Grades 10-12 Interested in a Health
Care Profession?
This interactive, educational and unique summer camp in
Lethbridge and Medicine Hat, AB will provide students with the
opportunity to explore a wide variety of health sciences
programs and careers.
•Participate in hands-on activities and interactive
demonstrations
•Tour labs and interact with instructors and students
•Go behind the scenes at local health care facilities
•Learn about the variety of programs available at several postsecondary institutions
•Meet health care professionals and hear their stories first
hand
•Discover career paths in health care

Work Experience Students - The end of the year is drawing
near and it’s time to get all of your paystubs in so you can
receive as many work experience credits as possible! Please
bring them to Mamta in Room 209 by June 9th.
• Grade 10 & 11 Students: If you are planning to work a
summer job, please have your signed work experience
contracts handed in by the last day of school, June 29,
2017.
• Also, make sure that you have HCS3000 done before you
sign up. Please see Mamta in Room 209 for more
information. This is a 1-credit work safety course that is a
prerequisite for work experience.
• Don’t forget students, if you are working at summer camps
or volunteering you can receive work experience credits.
Scholarship Info
Woodman White & Associates – 2017 Scholarship - One
award of $3000 (payment is made over 3 years and is
dependent on applicant meeting yearly qualifications). See
Mamta for eligibility criteria. Submit a completed application
form from Woodman White & Associates by June 1st, 2017.
ATCO Indigenous Education Awards Program - ATCO
Provides awards to Alberta Indigenous students who
demonstrate leadership and commitment in their quest for
higher education. Requirements:
 Completed application form (available online at
ATCO.com/IndigenousAwards).
 One reference letter from a teacher, community leader or
employer.
 Short essay (max 1000 words) describing why you are a
suitable award candidate.
 Proof of enrollment for your upcoming school semester.
 Transcript from the school your current school.
$500 Merit Awards for students in Grades 10-12,
$1,000 Bursaries for students in diploma or certificate
programs, $1,500 Scholarships for students in degree

BUSING DURING EXAMS
Please note that during exam week(s) the school
bus schedule will run regular pick-ups in the
mornings. School buses will not be scheduled to
run in the afternoon.

come to the office after your exam
for a one way Breeze Pass to ride
Lethbridge Transit home.
