NOTES
The SSC lines the majority of our diamonds, but in an instance where a diamond is not lined, please use the following
information as guidance on Slo-Pitch set-up.
Set- up: The first team to arrive will set up the field as shown, but will require the cones of the other team as well.
Pitchers Mound: This will be located 50 feet (17 paces) from home plate.
1st/2nd/3rd Bases: 1st and 3rd base are located 65 feet (22 paces) from home plate; 2nd base is located 65 feet (22 paces)
between 1st and 3rd.
Respect Line: This will be located 140 feet (47 paces) from home plate.
Commitment Line: This will be located 32.5 feet (11 paces) between home plate and 3rd base (half the distance).
Home Run Line: Home Run lines should be 300 feet (100 paces) from home plate. If the size of the field is between 240 feet
(80 paces) and 300 feet (100 paces) from home plate, the Home Run line should be at the edge of the field. If the edge of
either left or right field is less than 240 feet (80 paces ) from home plate, then the Ground Rule Double rule is in effect and
there will be no Home Run line. Please note that many diamonds will have a fence that can be used as a Home Run line.
